6 Startup Business Ideas Working Despite Gloomy Economy

22nd July 2009

Some readers and indeed others have asked me what business ventures I would recommend despite the current gloomy economy. I myself started two businesses amidst a recession and they are gaining momentum. The truth is I believe that an economic downturn is the best time in which to start a business because as things start to recover, you would have a head start and be in the game and when they boom you stand to profit a lot. With this in mind, I found an article that I would like to share with you.

Personal Finance Now before I send you to the link, I thought I should emphasize that not everyone has thousands of dollars of cash somewhere to serve as capital for their startup venture. Infact, most of us would like to start a business with as low a startup cost as possible. I would also recommend this. Hence I gave some ideas in a previous article about what businesses you could go into should you be faced with unemployment or simply if you realize that you need to be earning extra income. The article was called "What You Can Do If Faced With Unemployment".

However, this was my opinion. I came across an article at Entrepreneur.com that discusses 6 startup ideas that are booming despite the current economic situation. This contains even more business ideas than what I had down in my article and so I thought I should share it with you. So click here to go and read the article.

Be sure to let me know of any comments and feedback. If you try it out and it works, let me know!
