Time Flies On MoneyBusiness

14th September 2007

It wasn't until last night while having drinks with a friend and discussing our hobbies that I realized how long MoneyBusiness has been in existence. It has been a good five months since I started blogging and one of my goals has been achieved. I have a blog that gives free advice to better the lives of people who are being milked dry financially simply because they do not have all the facts. Did I think I would get such a response?

Finance Tid Bits To be honest I did not know what to expect but I developed a passion for finance and of course we all love money! Since my financial re-birth I have found that in writing on this blog and "teaching" many others I too am learning some new lessons that are helping me in my personal finance. You can find out my story where I talk about my financial journey.

After getting into and out of the second financial mishap filled with bad debt and near bankruptcy, I realized that debt especially bad debt in not only the result of bad financial management and decisions. The problem goes deeper than that. A lot of us educated and graduated from good universities but we lack financial intelligence. The root of financial problems is ignorance. Hence my first post which I wrote on this blog on 30 April 2007 when I launched the blog. It was titled " Why Are You In Debt? " This is a question most of us don't know the answer to or haven't got an answer to.

I aim to give you the answers but also the causes of the problem and my goal to all this? Consumer revenge!! Yes consumers need to fight back and become smarter its the only way to financial freedom.
