Six Months With MoneyBusiness And Counting...

30th October 2007

Today marks exactly six months since the MoneyBusiness blog first went live with just one post. It has grown a great deal since then with quite a reader base and 38 posts including this one. Running and maintaining a blog is not exactly hard but it does become hard when you have a full time job and other stresses that need your time. However, I love writing and talking about money and I believe that you have grown to love my passion too through MoneyBusiness.

Finance Tid Bits Although it has only been six months the response I have received from you guys has been overwhelming to say the least. I have enjoyed your company thus far and hope we will continue to journey together and discover new things about money and personal finance.

After having experienced financial turmoil which included bad debt and near bankruptcy, I realized that as much as there is information out there to help you if you know what you're looking for, there was need for someone who had actually experienced financial difficulty to give lessons learnt to others. I used to take financial advice from just about all my friends. However, when I ran into financial trouble I soon discovered that not many of them were really as financially literate as they made out to be.

Of course my friend Ted who is well to do and is in the finance industry was someone I turned to and still seek for financial advice and discussion. I started reading financial books on his recommendation and I have since learnt so much about money and the psychology of money. I hope to continue to share my knowledge and experiences with you and I sincerely hope you will benefit a great deal from this blog.

I have had my experiences and now that I got myself out of trouble I'd like to hold other people's hands and help them too. So I do hope you learn and enjoy yourself while you learn.

"A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things " - Ecclesiastes 10:19
